Hawai’i CC and UH-Hilo Earth Day Fair
On Friday, April 17, Hawai’i Community College and the University of Hawai’i at Hilo will present its annual Earth Day Fair.
The event, now in its 27th year, will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Attendees can visit exhibits, enjoy feature entertainment, listen in on storytelling, get their face painted, take home plants, and much more.
Every year, Hawai’i CC and UH-Hilo host their free annual celebration, open to the public, on the campus of UH-Hilo. The main events will be held at the school’s Campus Center Plaza but events will extend out to the Mo’okini Library lanai.
This year, Hawai’i CC and UH-Hilo have partnered with Conservation and Career Day to create Earth Day. The event will aim to educate local students and the public while providing information about careers in natural resource management and conservation biology.
