Ahead of the primary election, the Waimea Community Association will host virtual candidate forums for the gubernatorial and lieutenant governor races this month.
The gubernatorial candidates will speak on June 9 at 5 p.m. and the lieutenant governor forum will take place on June 16, also at 5 p.m. The forums will be streamed live.
Candidates will be accepting questions from the public. The community can send those questions to [email protected].
The primary election will be held on Aug. 13. Mail-in votes must be submitted by July 26.

To watch the forums, visit www.WaimeaTown.org. A button on the homepage will take viewers to the WCA YouTube channel. The video will be shared live on the WCA Facebook page.
It will be recorded and available for viewing after the events on YouTube and Facebook.
