Hawaiʻi Zero Waste Summit Set For This Week

Senator Laura Acasio (District 1 – Hilo), nonprofit Zero Waste O´ahu, and community organization Zero Waste Hawaiʻi Island will present the 2nd Annual Hawaiʻi Zero Waste Summit this week.

The virtual conference will be held on May 28, from 8 am to 3:30 pm. All are welcome to register for this free virtual event at the following link: http://bit.ly/zwhisummit

A keynote address will be given by Dr. Kamanamaikalani Beamer on the intersection of Aloha ʻĀina and circular economies. The speech will set the stage for panels focusing on building reuse systems in Hawaiʻi, passing relevant legislation, and creating pathways for community composting.
