Mmmm is for Mai Tai’s
Ok, there will be alcohol and a cash prize. Sounds like what most people would consider a perfect pair.
Be poolside ready and bring an appetite for barbecue and that almost trite tropical drink.
Watch as bartenders compete to make the best Mai Tai of 2012 and see a winner walk away flush with an extra $10,000.
From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., eat and vote on your fave barbecue, then listen to Henry Kapono jam from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.
At last, watch 30 bartenders from around the world, do what they do best from 4:30 p.m.
This event takes place at the Royal Kona Resort located at 75-5852 Alii Drive, in Kailua-Kona.
