Big Island Athlete Claims Silver, Bronze Medals on Day 3 of 2022 USA Games

As of Wednesday, June 8, the Special Olympics Hawai‘i team, or Hui O Hawai‘i, had earned a total of 18 medals, including two won by a Big Island athlete, at the Special Olympics 2022 USA Games.

Kona Powerlifter Earns Special Olympics Gold

In his first ever competition outside of the state, Kona’s Isaiah Wong earned two gold medals and two silver medals at the Special Olympics World Games.
