Hawai’i County Council awards $7.5 million in grants to tackle homelessness, housing
The Hawai‘i County Council on Wednesday approved Resolution 61, providing a total of $7.5 million to 13 organizations for 16 projects that include permanent supportive housing, substance abuse and mental health treatment and professional development for front-line homeless service providers.
