RISE to host student entrepreneur events, funding incentives

RISE’s entrepreneurship program will be managed by the Pacific Asian Center for Entrepreneurship in the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa’s Shidler College of Business. Ahead of RISE’s opening, the PACE Leaders program will provide students with an opportunity to gain entrepreneurial and leadership skills, while enriching the educational experiences of their peers.

The $70 million Residences for Innovative Student Entrepreneurs, or RISE, is modeled after the Lassonde Studios, a University of Utah student innovation and housing facility.

University of Hawai‘i regents approve new student housing project

The facility will consist of two buildings and include 316 units with 558 beds, a childcare facility, retail and café space, bike storage, study rooms, laundry facility, mail and package room, outdoor amenity decks and on-site management.
