U.S. Army’s newest recruits sworn in at Panaʻewa Stampede rodeo

Six new U.S. Army soldiers proudly took their oaths of enlistment on Feb. 23 at the Pana’ewa Stampede rodeo in front of family, friends and thousands of spectators amidst a downpour of rain.

20th Annual Rodeo Happening This Weekend

Twenty years of horsemanship will be on display as spectators will be treated to watch: roping, cow handling, steer lassoing and “double mugging,” among other events.
