Officials Release Identity of Man Who Disappeared Near Rainbow Falls

Hawaiʻi Island police have identified the body discovered along the coastline of Hilo Bay as the California man who was swept down the Wailuku River.

Female Rainbow Falls Drowning Victim Identified

Hawai`i Island Police are investigating the possible drowning of a 62-year-old woman and are searching for a 61-year-old man after they were swept down the Wailuku River.

UPDATE 2: Rainbow Falls Search Suspended

Day three of the search for a missing swimmer in the Wailuku River near Rainbow Falls was suspended at just after 10 a.m. due to flash flood, heavy rain conditions.
