After the postponement of other festivals on O‘ahu like FESTPAC, the Merrie Monarch Festival office has been flooded with phone calls from people inquiring about the status of the Hilo-based tradition.

Attendees can learn Kapa making, to weave, to pound poi or to wood carve, among several other activities. 

In the 9th year of the event, Te ‘E‘a O Te Turama once again hosts groups from all over Hawai`i and shares cultural dance and musical traditions.

Second Saturday in Volcano, a monthly showcase of all the Big Island’s Volcano region has to offer, returns in January to kick off the new year. 

The 49th Annual Kona Coffee Cultural Festival happens Friday, Nov. 1 through Sunday, Nov. 10, 2019.

Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel is gearing up for its 5th Annual Festival of Aloha, a free, all-day, family-friendly festival on Sunday, Aug. 28, 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Attendees can expect music, hula, arts and crafts, food, demonstrations, children’s games, and cultural activities.
