FBI searches 2 locations in Kona; investigation underway

Hawaiian Electric has been asking its customers to conserve for the past several weeks and officials say it’s helping.

The 16-year-old was last seen in the Ainaloa Subdivision area in Pāhoa on Tuesday at approximately 4:35 p.m.

Special Agent in Charge Steven Merrill stated: “The FBI can confirm that they are conducting court-authorized activities in the area. However, as our investigation is still ongoing, we decline to comment further.”
