The Maui Police Department is warning the public of a recurring scam involving spoofed phone calls targeting members of the community. "We urge you to remain vigilant and take necessary precautions to protect yourself from falling victim to these fraudulent activities," police said.

PFAS detected in Maui Business Park system 

PFAS have been detected in water samples collected at the Waiʻele Wells 1 and 2 Chlorinator, Maui Business Park water system in Kahului of the island of Maui. This water system is non-transient and non-community, and primarily serves approximately 64 businesses. The water system has notified the affected businesses.
