Police continuing investigation into Ocean View shooting
Responding to a shooting on Aloha Boulevard reported around 5:45 a.m. on Tuesday, Ka‘ū patrol officers made contact with a 43-year-old male victim, also from Ocean View. The victim reported that while sleeping in a tent on his property he was approached by an unidentified female asking for assistance with her vehicle.
Hilo man charged with attempted distribution of methamphetamine, more
Following the execution of a narcotics search warrant on Delos Santos’ vehicle, VICE officers recovered 265.97 grams – or over a half pound – of methamphetamine, which was broken down into nine separate packets each containing approximately one ounce of methamphetamine.
Hawai‘i police seek three wanted individuals
Irvin Tysen Agres, age 41, is wanted on two outstanding warrants of arrest, as well as for questioning relative to numerous other felony investigations. He is described as 5 feet 7 inches tall, 155 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. Agres is known to frequent the Hilo and Puna areas and is also known to be armed and dangerous.
