Update: Highway 19 at 37 mile marker near Paʻauilo has reopened in both directions

Highway 19 (Mamalahoa Highway) at the 37 mile marker near Paʻauilo has reopened in both directions, according to Hawaiʻi Island Police.
One lane had been closed earlier Thursday morning due to a fire.
