Updated at 7:23 p.m. Thursday, March 30: Big Island police report the police activity in Aloha Estates in Glenwood has ceased.

Original story: The Hawaiʻi Police Department is currently involved in “police activity” in Aloha Estates on Mauna Loa Road in Glenwood.

At 4 p.m. on March 30, the department asked that the public avoid this area for the next several hours.
