Updated on March 2: Ricky Ramirez was found in good health on March 1 in Hilo, police say.

Original Post: Hawaiʻi Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 14-year-old Ricky Ramirez, who was reported as a runaway.
Ramirez was last seen on the afternoon of Feb. 28, 2023, on Kamehameha Avenue in Hilo. He was wearing a white T-shirt, green camouflage pants and black Nike Air Force 1 shoes.  
He is 6 feet 2 inches, 140 pounds, with short black hair, brown eyes and a tan complexion.
Police ask anyone who may have information about Ramirez’s whereabouts to call the police department’s non-emergency line at 808-935-3311 or contact Officer Chase Rasse of Puna Patrol at 808-965-2716.
