The Fairmont Orchid and the Ladies Artisan Market (LAM) invite the public to celebrate International Women’s Day on Friday, March 8, 2019, with an inaugural Pop-up Market featuring the musical talent of singer-songwriter Ninamarie Jeffrey, wine tastings sourced from female winemakers and fifteen interactive vendors specializing in multimedia art, photography and local products. The market will take place at the Fairmont Orchid Luana Lounge (Lobby Level) from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
This celebration is designed to support local, female-owned businesses and offer a way for people to connect with women entrepreneurs on Hawai‘i Island. It’s being sponsored by Fairmont Orchid’s RiiSE committee, an initiative by AccorHotels to promote gender equality, fairness and diversity. The public is welcome to attend.
