Looking Ahead

Expect continued breezy trade winds though the weekend as a strong high pressure system remains 1300 miles north of the state. A trough remnant associated with former tropical cyclone Emilia will drift from east to west across the Hawaiian Islands from Friday afternoon to Sunday morning bringing an increase in clouds and shower activity. Otherwise more typical summer time trade wind weather is forecast with clouds and showers favoring windward and mountain areas.
