"LESS TALK! MORE LISTEN!" posterKu‘ikahi Mediation Center will offer a free workshop—”LESS TALK! MORE LISTEN!”—with the center’s executive director, Julie Mitchell; and  Tim Hansen, MSW, Restorative Justice Program manager, Hawai’i County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, at the UH-Hilo Campus Center, Room 301.

The workshop will be held on Friday, Oct. 14, 2016, from 5 to 7 p.m.

A reception with pupu begins at 4:45 p.m.

Attendees will have the opportunity to learn some powerful and effective active-listening techniques to become better communicators at home, in the workplace and in the community.

Learn practical tools, including summarizing for understanding and asking appropriate questions, plus historic conflict resolution practices used in various cultures.
