An extended furlough inmate failed to report for a scheduled check-in in Kona Thursday morning.

The Department of Public Safety identified the inmate as 23-year-old Race Bolner who is classified as community custody, the lowest custody level.

Bolner is described as 5’8” and reportedly weighs 140 pounds. He has a shaved bald head and brown eyes.

DPS officials say Bolner is serving time for theft, forgery, and fraudulent use of a credit card.

Once located, Escape 2 is expected to be added to Bolner’s charges. His next parole hearing was scheduled for December.

If seen, DPS urges individuals to call 911.
