Tonight
Mostly cloudy skies are expected tonight with numerous showers for windward areas with scattered showers after midnight. Leeward areas should get mostly cloudy skies to start with scattered showers, then clearing is expected through the night as the land breeze takes hold. Trade winds are forecasted around 15 mph. Low temperatures from 71° to 76° are expected.
Looking Ahead
Trade winds are expected to blow across the islands through the weekend. The trades will keep showers focused over windward areas except for afternoon showers over the Kona slopes of the Big Island. Early next week the trade winds are forecasted to become light enough to allow afternoon sea breezes to become more widespread and produce afternoon clouds and showers over leeward areas of all the islands.
