NAS Pool to Close for Electrical Work

Hilo’s NAS Swimming Pool will be closed on Thursday, Oct. 30.

According to the Hawai’i County Department of Parks and Recreation, the closure is necessary to accommodate electrical work.

The installation of new utility poles that service the pool will be completed by Hawai’i Electric Light.

Normal pool hours are scheduled to resume on Friday, Oct. 31.
