Kona Teen Missing Since Feb. 24

Police are asking for the public’s help locating a Kona teenager missing for the past three weeks.
Shellsea Gouiveia-Asuncion is 5-foot-5 and 100 pounds, with brown eyes and short black hair in a Mohawk cut. She has a pierced tongue and gauges in her ears.
The 16-year-old was last seen in Kealakekua on Feb. 24, wearing baggy black jeans, a black shirt printed with the word “Diamond,” a tan belt and black shoes.
Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call the police department at 935-3311.
Calls can be made anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 961-8300.
