Calla Renata Grace Mae Weddington, 34 of Pāhoa, was arrested and charged with multiple offenses that include inflicting minor knife wounds on a female 9-year-old and brandishing a knife at a Hawaiʻi Island police officer.

A 24-year-old man from Captain Cook suffered critical injuries on Saturday from a hit-and-run collision on Highway 11, near the 110-mile marker in South Kona in the area of Arthur Greenwell Park.

Hawaiʻi Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 28-year-old Shanice Ogata-Staudinger, who is wanted on an outstanding warrant in connection with a stabbing in Pāhoa.

Rilson Rodrigues, 44 of Ocean View, was arrested and charged with a series of offenses, including attempted murder, following a domestic dispute on April 2 in Ocean View during which he fired a rifle multiple times at a 40-year-old woman trying to escape in a car.

Danny L. Ostlund, 73, was last seen on Banyan Drive in Hilo on Feb. 26, 2023.

A tractor was stolen from a property off of Highway 130 just outside of Pāhoa on March 12, 2023, between 8:45 a.m. and 1:40 p.m., according to Hawaiʻi Island police.

Uilani Ahuna was located in Hilo on May 11.

Mervin Nihau was last seen on Amau Road in Hilo at 7 a.m. on March 11 and is in need of medication.

Kailea Kekipi was located in good health in Hilo on the Big Island.

Police kill driver of stolen car during search for armed and dangerous attempted murder suspect, Ronald Kahihikolo, who was last seen near mile 40 marker on Highway 19 in Hāmākua District.

Hawaiʻi Island police ask that anyone who knows the whereabouts of a person on this outstanding warrants list to call the police department’s non-emergency line at 808-935-3311.

Harrison Duadua-Apao, who is wanted for stealing a truck, is about 5 feet 8 inches and 155 pounds, with black hair, hazel eyes, a medium build and tan complexion.  

Four men were arrested for firearms offenses on March 4 while at a cockfight in Kealakekua, where drugs and illegal firearms were recovered, along with U.S. currency and two vehicles for forfeiture, according to Hawaiʻi Island police.
