Big Island police report that 64-year-old Georgette Olinger-Sakai was located in Hilo in good health.

The sweep was conducted by the Hawai‘i Police Department, in conjunction with the U.S. Marshals Service Hawai‘i Task Force, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Homeland Security Investigations, Hawai‘i Department of Public Safety Sheriff Division, Hawai‘i Department of Land and Natural Resources Division of Conservation and Resources Enforcement and investigators from the Hawai‘i County Office of the Prosecuting Attorney.

Hawaiʻi Island police are asking for the public’s help in locating 36-year-old Joseph Narzisi of Kailua-Kona, who is wanted on an outstanding Parole Violation warrant.

The Hawaiʻi Police Department provided the following list of 25 people with outstanding misdemeanor or traffic warrants.

Maui County officials released the name of eight more individuals killed in the Aug. 8 Lāhainā fire on Thursday.

The teen was last seen on Komohana Street in Hilo.

Derick Camacho is scheduled to make his initial appearance in Kona Circuit Court this afternoon. He remains in custody in lieu of $250,000 bail.

Officers will be available to talk story at the Starbucks in the Queens Marketplace.

During an initial court appearance on Monday, Hilo District Court Judge Jeffrey Hawk maintained bail of $610,000 on 40-year-old James Pomaikai Kepa, of Kea‘au.

So far this year, there have been 617 DUI arrests compared with 647 during the same period last year. This is a decrease of 4.6%.

Andrew Amon of Ocean View was wanted for two outstanding warrants for arrest, as well as for questioning in other criminal investigations.

James Pomaikai Kepa is scheduled to make his initial appearance this afternoon in Hilo District Court. He remains in custody in lieu of $610,000 bail.

Mark Kaili, who has been with the department for just over two years, faces assault and burglary charges in connection with the Ka‘ū incident earlier this week.

This list is comprised of people with a last name that begins with C and is only a fraction of the more than 4,000 outstanding warrants in the county.

The portion of the highway in North Kona previously closed between mile markers 34 and 35 is now open to all traffic.

The brush fire was reported earlier Friday afternoon between the 16- and 17-mile markers of the Big Island highway.

The victim was identified as 30-year-old Koa Kane Clark of Waikōloa. Big Island police have initiated a coroner’s inquest investigation into the single-vehicle collision.

The event will take place at Kona Heaven Coffee Co., Coconut Grove Marketplace, 75-5805 Ali‘i Dr., in Kailua-Kona, from 8-10 a.m.

So far this year, there have been 600 DUI arrests compared with 628 during the same period last year, a decrease of 4.5%.

The restaurant fire occurred in the early morning on Sunday. The residential structure fire was reported in the evening.
