Several events during the next week also invite island residents and visitors alike to strut their stuff on the dance floor to a variety of music, including swing, funk, Motown and more.

Stargazer Industries in Nā’ālehu is hosting the “Coffee Tea Water: Essential Elements EXPO,” on Oct. 21, celebrating Ka’u coffee and tea farmers with live music, food, local vendors and more.

“Yer Boy O” is emceeing the event. Attendees will enjoy the sweet sounds of Vaughn Valentino and Ku Ma’ema’e, followed by crowd favorite Alexander the Amazing Magician.

The Hawaiʻi County Mass Transit Agency invites the public to participate in the “Meet the Bus” event on July 11. Attendees can interact with agency representatives, explore alternative-fueled buses, and learn about the latest developments in public transportation.

The free event will include fun activities and a keynote speech by the founder of Tetris and Blue Planet Foundation, Henk Rogers.

The event will be hosted Sept. 26 to 29, 2019, at the Sheraton Kona at Keauhou Bay on Hawai’i Island.
