Whether you’re a seasoned writer or are just starting out, one of your most useful resources is a workshop. With the Hilo Writers’ Workshop, you’ll not only have useful feedback from other writers, you’ll also benefit from weekly discussions about the most important concepts of writing with the group’s facilitator, Adam Sydney.
With two master’s degrees in screenwriting, Adam has been helping hundreds of writers reach their personal and professional goals for more than twenty years. He’s worked as a writer, an editor, a college instructor, and a development executive in the entertainment industry, so he understands the many ways writers can improve their writing—and have fun while doing it! Writers can explore any creative medium they wish in the workshop, from fiction and memoir to screenwriting and poetry.
You are welcome to join us Sundays from 1 to 4 p.m. at the University of Hawaii Hilo Campus. The workshop starts on July 23rd and runs through September the 24th. The full ten weeks are $90, payable at the start of the session. To reserve your place or ask any questions, please feel free to contact Adam at (818) 216-8664 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
