Kona Stories community bookstore offers many choices of book clubs. Groups meet monthly to discuss books of fiction, travel and non-fiction. Fiction group meets at 6:30 p.m. the second Tuesday of the month, travel meets the third Tuesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. and the non-fiction group meets the fourth Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m.
Book groups are free if books are purchased from Kona Stories or a $5 donation is appreciated. Bring a pūpū or beverage to share and come prepared to discuss the following books. You can choose to attend any or all of these groups.
July 12 Fiction Group is discussing "Euphoria" by Lily King
A New York Times bestseller, "Euphoria" is King’s breakout novel about three young, gifted anthropologists of the 1930s, caught in a passionate love triangle that threatens their bonds, their careers, and ultimately, their lives. Inspired by events in the life of revolutionary anthropologist Margaret Mead. This group meets at 6:30 p.m. at Kona Stories Book Store.
Kona Stories is located in the Keauhou Shopping Center in the courtyard shops on the KTA side.
