Puna Taiko, Darlene Ahuna and Ira Kekaualua & Friends will kick off the County of Hawaii’s third annual “Magic Of The Season” holiday events at the Hawai’i County Building in Hilo tonight.
Nā Hōkū Hanohano award-winning performers including Cyril Pahinui, Mark Yamanaka, Darlene Ahuna and Henry Kapono also will be performing in the series running through Dec. 20.
Taiko drummers, hula dancers and student musicians also will take turns entertaining audiences.
Festivities usually run 5:30-8 p.m nightly (check schedule below) with free entertainment, activities and refreshments hosted by the County of Hawaii.

The county is also holding an open house. Volunteers have decorated dozens of trees and lit up the county building, which the public may view starting at 7:45 a.m. School groups, civic organizations and individuals are invited to experience the holiday offerings by touring the office building located at 25 Aupuni St.
