The Hub Network is still looking for Hawaii residents to enter its “First Annual Halloween Bash.”
The network special, including a nationwide Halloween costume competition, will be broadcast Saturday, Oct. 26 on the cable channel.
Kenan Thompson of Saturday Night Live will host the event with Martha Stewart leading a panel of celebrities who will judge the costume competition.
The network expected to have semi-finalists from each state heading to Los Angeles to participate.

But Hawaii isn’t represented, said event spokeswoman Lisa Bustamante. “We just pulled a summary report of what states haven’t submitted anyone yet … and guess what state came up?” she asked Thursday in an email to Big Island Now.
Only three days remain to enter, Bustamante noted. “With no submissions from Hawaii yet, that means that you have a pretty good shot.”
The winning contestant will win $25,000 and a walk-on role on Hub Network’s “R.L. Stine’s The Haunting Hour: The Series.”

The contest is open to all ages, including individuals or a maximum of five people per group submission.
Contestants are encouraged to create “eye-popping, hair-raising and spooky costumes” in categories ranging from “Howl-arious” to “Mad Genius.”
