A second suspect has been arrested in connection with an April 5 burglary in Kailua-Kona.
Police said Ammon K. Kamohai, 22, of Kailua-Kona was arrested on Monday and charged on two warrants for allegedly violating probation in a drug case and on suspicion of promoting a dangerous drug.
His bail on the bail revocation charge was set at $100,000.
After he made an appearance Tuesday in court, Kamohai was taken back to the Kona police station where he was arrested on other offenses.
On Wednesday, Kamohai was charged with burglary, theft, forgery and attempted theft in connection with the April 5 burglary on Queen Kalama Avenue. He was also charged with car theft.
Bail for those charges was set at $65,000.
He was being held today pending an initial court appearance.
The other suspect in the April 5 burglary, 23-year-old Tonino Benson, was charged on April 12.
