Joaquin Sought by Police for Probation Violation

Big Island police are asking for the public’s help locating 40-year-old Sheldon Joaquin, who is wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant.
Joaquin, who is known to frequent the Hamakua and Waipio Valley areas, allegedly violated terms of his probation for an assault conviction.
Joaquin is described as 5-foot-6 and 150 pounds with a tan complexion.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the police department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311.
