Homeless Man Sought on Bench Warrants

Big Island police are asking for the public’s help locating a 35-year-old man wanted on two bench warrants.

Curtis Hokulani Kekahuna Jr., who has no permanent address, is described as 5-foot-9 and about 300 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair.

Police said Kekahuna is wanted on a $500 warrant for contempt of court and a $300 warrant for failure to appear in court.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the police department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311.
