Christmas Under the Stars with Kuana Torres Kahele

Hālau Ka‘eaikahelelani will present Christmas Under the Stars with Kuana Torres Kahele on the Bay View Lawn at the Sheraton Kona Resort.

This evening of hula, music and shopping on Friday, Dec. 15, 2017, will include a visit and picture taking with Santa Claus.

The evening’s performance will include all members of the hālau (keiki through adult classes) and feature five-time Nā Hōkū Hanohano Award-winner Kahele. The Hilo native is a musician, vocalist, songwriter, record producer, dancer and educator.

In addition, there will be a special guest appearance by Lorna Lim. Born and raised in the North Kohala District on Hawai‘i Island, Lim began playing music at an early age with her award-winning family—the The Lim Family.

Both are among Hawai‘i’s living treasures and are sure to provide an unforgettable experience for all who attend.

In addition, an exclusive shopping experience will be included in the festivities.

After a momentous debut at New York Fashion Week, MANAOLA is returning home to Hawai’i Island to share his culture-conscious designs just in time for the holidays. Shop MANAOLA’s last pop-up shop of 2017, featuring kāne aloha shirts, wāhine dresses, separates, accessories and more.

Kahele will also feature his line of exotic shell jewelry that celebrates ocean treasures from all over the world. KUANA ELEGANT CULTURE will showcase Ni‘ihau Shell earrings, bracelets, necklaces and more.

Doors will open at 5 p.m. Tickets are $25 for ages 12 and over, $10 for ages 6 to 11, and children 5 and under admitted at no charge.
