The Hawai‘i Police Department’s Puna Community Police responded to 11 burglaries, one robbery, 11 vehicle thefts and three vehicle break-ins in the Puna District over the 14-day period from Nov. 1 to 15, 2017.
Of the 11 vehicles reported stolen, eight had been recovered at the time of this publication.

11 BURGLARIES
On Nov. 1, victim reported that suspect(s) entered the victims residence on Mano Street in Hawaiian Beaches and removed the carpets.
On Nov. 2, victim reported that suspect(s) entered the victims residence on Io Kea Road (Road 4) inHawaiian Acres and removed stationary items
On Nov. 2, victim reported that suspect(s) entered the victims residence on Aweoweo Street in Hawaiian Beaches and removed electronics, jewelry and other miscellaneous items.
On Nov. 3, victim reported that suspect(s) entered the victims residence on Maiko Street in Hawaiian Beaches and removed appliances.
On Nov. 3, victim reported that suspect(s) entered the victims residence on 15th Avenue in Hawaiian Paradise Park and removed a washing machine.
On Nov. 5, victim reported that suspect(s) entered the victims residence on 29th Avenue in Hawaiian Paradise Park and removed power tools and fishing equipment.
On Nov. 6, victim reported that suspect(s) entered the victims residence on Kioele Street (Road E) in Hawaiian Acres and removed miscellaneous items.
On Nov. 6, victim reported that suspect(s) entered the victims residence on Kaulana Road in Mountain View and removed a firearm and other miscellaneous items.
On Nov. 11, victim reported that suspect(s) entered the victims residence on Lehua Drive in Ainaloaand removed miscellaneous tools.
On Nov. 12, victim reported that suspect(s) entered the victims residence on Kolika Street in Mountain Viewand removed a firearm.
On Nov.15, victim reported that suspect(s) entered the victims residence on Opeapea Road (Road 7) in Hawaiian Acresand removed miscellaneous items.
1 ROBBERY
On Nov.11, victim reported that the suspect struck her twice when she tried to retrieve her stolen item back on Nanawale Boulevard in Nanawale Estates.
11 STOLEN VEHICLES
On Nov. 3, victim reported that the suspect removed the victims vehicle from Mahimahi Street in Hawaiian Shores. Vehicle has since been recovered.
On Nov. 6, victim reported that the suspect removed the victims vehicle from Kaulana Road in Mountain View. Vehicle has since been recovered.
On Nov. 6, victim reported that the suspect removed the victims vehicle from Haunani Road in Volcano. Vehicle has since been recovered.
On Nov. 7, victim reported that the suspect removed the victims vehicle from Road 9 in Hawaiian Acres. Vehicle has since been recovered.
On Nov. 7, victim reported that the suspect removed the victims vehicle from Haunani Road in Volcano. Vehicle has since been recovered.
On Nov. 9, victim reported that the suspect removed the victims vehicle from Kea‘au-Pāhoa Road in Kea‘au. Vehicle has since been recovered.
On Nov. 10, victim reported that the suspect re-moved the victims white Ford flatbed truck from Road 5 in Hawaiian Acres.
On Nov. 14, victim reported that the suspect removed the victims vehicle from 8.5 mile camp in Kea‘au. Vehicle has since been recovered.
On Nov. 15, victim reported that the suspect re-moved the victims green Ford Ranger pickup truck from Road 7 in Hawaiian Acres.
On Nov, 15, victim reported that the suspect removed the victims vehicle from Highway 11 in Mountain View. Vehicle has since been recovered.
On Nov,15, victim reported that the suspect re-moved the victims blue Suzuki multi-purpose vehicle from Kahakai Boulevard in Pāhoa.
3 VEHICLE BREAK-INS
On Nov. 7, victim reported that suspect(s) entered the victims vehicle on Old Volcano Road in Volcanoand removed currency and other miscellaneous items.
On Nov. 8, victim reported that suspect(s) entered the victims vehicle on Kapoho Kai Road in Kapoho and removed currency and electronics.
On Nov. 13, victim reported that suspect(s) entered the victims vehicle at the Isaac Hale Beach Park in Pohoikiand removed currency.
