Locally owned, independent supermarket ChoiceMART has launched a new grocery delivery and personal shopping service.

ChoiceMART is the first grocery store on the Big Island to offer shoppers the convenience of online shopping with delivery service for groceries, fresh local produce, meats, Big Island grass-fed beef, fresh fish, beer, wine, an extensive selection of natural and organic products—anything available in the store.

ChoiceMART’s new website, choicemarthawaii.com, enables users to shop the Captain Cook grocery store online, 24 hours a day from a computer, tablet or smart phone.

Just create an account and place your online order.

ChoiceMART’s personal shoppers will hand select each item on your list, paying close attention to any special instructions provided with the order and pack the items for delivery to your door.

“We are very pleased to offer this exciting new way to shop for groceries in West Hawai‘i,” said Rhonda Kavanagh, CEO of Kealakekua Ranch and ChoiceMART. “Our new website and personal shopping service provides a quick and easy way to shop our entire store whenever and wherever it is convenient for you, with delivery right to your door! Great for anyone short on time like busy professionals, working moms and dads, and even vacationers who want to spend more time on the beach. Property managers and home healthcare workers shopping for others will also benefit from this service as they can simply place the order online and let ChoiceMART’s personal shoppers do the work.”

At ChoiceMart, t’s as easy as one, two, three.

Delivery service is available daily to the resort areas of Kukio, Four Seasons-Hualala, Kailua-Kona, Holualoa, Keauhou, Kealakekua, Captain Cook and Honaunau.

Deliveries are made by a ChoiceMART employee in a new refrigerated van to keep everything fresh and cold; there is even a freezer section to keep ice cream from melting.

Delivery times and service fees are displayed during the online checkout process.

Generally, deliveries south of ChoiceMART’s Captain Cook store location are scheduled from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.; deliveries to the north are scheduled from 1 to 5 p.m. daily.

There is a minimum order size of $85 and a $14.95 delivery service fee for most locations. (The fee for deliveries to Kukio and Four Seasons-Hualalai is an additional $15 to cover the added cost of fuel and driver time for the extra distance.)

For those who want to shop online without delivery, ChoiceMART also offers “Click & Collect” service. Customers can shop online 24 hours a day and pick up their grocery order curbside at the Captain Cook store location.

A personal shopper hand selects the order and brings it out to the customer’s car—no need to even take off your seatbelt.
