The Hawai‘i Police Department’s Puna Community Police responded to 14 burglaries, no robberies, four vehicle thefts and 10 vehicle break-ins in the Puna District over a 14-day period from July 16 to 31, 2017.

14 BURGLARIES
July 16: Victim reported that suspect(s) entered the victim’s residence on Kilikaa Road in Fern Forest and removed a wallet, jewelry and lawn equipment.
July 16: Victim reported that suspect(s) entered the victim’s residence on 15th Avenue in Hawaiian Paradise Park and removed electronics, power tools, jewelry and other miscellaneous items.
July 17: Victim reported that suspect(s) entered the victim’s residence on Kahukai Street in Leilani Estates and removed electronics, miscellaneous tools and items.
July 17: Victim reported that suspect(s) entered the victim’s residence on 37th Street in Orchidland. Nothing was removed.
July 17: Victim reported that suspect(s) entered the victim’s residence on Plumeria Street in Fern Acres and removed power tools, miscellaneous tools and sporting equipment.
July 18: Victim reported that suspect(s) entered the victim’s residence on Ohialani Road in Eden Roc and removed electronics, lawn equipment, musical instruments and home equipment.
July 19: Victim reported that suspect(s) entered the victim’s residence on 36th Avenue in Orchidland and removed electronics, lawn equipment, musical instruments and equipment.
July 19: Victim reported that suspect(s) entered the victim’s residence on Beach Road in Hawaiian Paradise Park and removed electronic items.
July 19: Victim reported that suspect(s) entered the victim’s residence on 12th Avenue in Hawaiian Paradise Parkand removed a firearm, electronics, credit cards, forms of identification and miscellaneous decorative items.
July 20: Victim reported that suspect(s) entered the victim’s residence on Laimana Avenue in Kapoho and removed miscellaneous items.
July 20: Victim reported that suspect(s) entered the victim’s residence on Ululhelemalu Road in Fern Forest and removed electronics and musical instruments.
July 27: Victim reported that suspect(s) entered the victim’s residence on Kahaualea Road in Fern Forestand removed outdoor equipment.
July 29: Victim reported that suspect(s) entered the victim’s residence on Napua Street in Orchidland and removed appliances.
July 29: Victim reported that suspect(s) entered the victim’s residence on Paradise Ala Kai in Hawaiian Paradise Park and removed power tools, musical equipment, electronics, appliances and miscellaneous decorative items.

July 18: Victim reported that the suspect removed the victim’s vehicle from Plumeria Road in Nanawale Estates.
July 19: Victim reported that the suspect removed the victim’s vehicle from Beach Road in Hawaiian Paradise Park.
July 21: Victim reported that the suspect removed the victim;s vehicle from 5th Avenue in Hawaiian Paradise Park.
July 26: Victim reported that the suspect removed the victim;s vehicle from 516h Avenue in Hawaiian Paradise Park.

July 22: Victim reported that suspect(s) entered the victim’s vehicle on Government Beach Road in Pāhoa and assaulted the victim.
July 24: Victim reported that suspect(s) entered the victim’s vehicle on Pāhoa-Kalapana Road in Pāhoa and re-moved a purse.
July 24: Victim reported that suspect(s) entered the victim’s vehicle in the area of the Kapoho Tide Pools in Kapoho and removed wallets.
July 29: Victim reported that suspect(s) entered the victim’s vehicle on Puni Kahakai Loop in Hawaiian Beaches and removed miscellaneous items.
July 29: Victim reported that suspect(s) entered the victims vehicle in the area of the Wai Opae tide pools in Kapoho and removed a backpack and electronics.
