The public is invited to visit Hospice of Kona’s Memory Lane Thrift Store booth at Kona Town Night Market on Saturday, July 1, at Brewery Block in Kona.

Discounted, gently used beach items—boogie boards, noodles, coolers, kids sand toys, beach chairs and more—will be on sale to benefit Hospice of Kona’s residential home, Nakamaru Hale.

Monetary donations will be accepted at the booth as well.

There will also be  interactive games for kids.

Kona Town Night Market is free to the public and features a range of vendors, artists, food and a beer garden.

“Memory Lane Thrift Store receives a lot of beach items from vacationers as well as from the community,” said Laura Varney, Hospice of Kona CEO. “We’re so grateful that we can turn around and sell those items at a great discount. Our Nakamaru Hale residents appreciate all of the support.”

Hospice of Kona opened Memory Lane Thrift Store in 2010. It offers carefully chosen, lightly-used clothing, furniture, beach items, household goods, jewelry and unique vintage items. All donations are tax deductible: simply request a receipt when you drop off your items.
