County to Hold Tsunami Training Exercise

The County of Hawaii Departments of Public Works, Parks and Recreation, and Civil Defense, in partnership with State Highways and the Hawaii Island Safety and Security Professional Association, will conduct an islandwide training exercise to prepare for tsunami emergency response.

The exercise will take place on Wednesday, April 26, and Friday, April 28, from 9 to 11 a.m. each day.

No road closures or traffic delays are anticipated during the exercise.
