Big Island Surf Forecast
Hilo side: Wave heights are forecast to be knee/shoulder high today.
Kona side: Wave heights are expected to be waist/head high today. The best breaks could get up to slightly overhead on the sets.
South: Wave heights are expected to be waist/head high today. The best breaks could get up to slightly overhead on the sets.
West-northwest holds through early Monday. Details further out are a little more hazy. Stay tuned.
A small south-southwest is expected for the 7th through the 9th with a slightly bigger swell right on its heels for the 10th through the 12th.
Keep in mind, surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
