Looking Ahead

Daytime sea breezes and nighttime land breezes are forecast to continue into the weekend with dry conditions for most areas. A front is expected to stall northwest of the state today and tonight, with scattered showers possible on Kauai, and higher humidity throughout the state. Volcanic haze will affect most areas at least through the weekend. Trade winds should slowly return to the islands during the early to middle part of next week.

Today

We have variable winds today with local sea breezes kicking in this afternoon.  Winds will be up around 5 to 15 mph with high temperatures from 79° to 84° but feeling warmer due to the heat index. Mostly sunny skies in the morning with partly cloudy skies in the afternoon and a slight chance of showers.
