Looking Ahead

Afternoon sea breezes and overnight land breezes are forecast to continue through the week. A front is expected to stall northwest of the state Wednesday and Thursday, increasing showers for Kauai and increasing humidity for the rest of the island chain. Volcanic haze will affect us through Saturday.

Today

We have variable winds today with local sea breezes kicking in this afternoon.  Winds will be up around 5 to 15 mph with high temperatures from 79° to 84° but feeling warmer due to the heat index. Mostly sunny skies in the morning with partly cloudy skies in the afternoon and a slight chance of showers.

Tonight

Light winds up to 15 mph with a land breeze kicking in as the land cools off this evening. Partly cloudy skies with isolated showers for leeward spots in the evening and clearing overnight as the land breeze takes hold. Low temperatures from 69° to 74°.
