Looking Ahead

Showers could become more active starting late Wednesday and Thursday over the western end of the state as a front approaches Kauai from the northwest. Humid conditions are forecast through the weekend along with volcanic haze spreading up from the Big Island.

We have east to southeast winds today with local sea breezes kicking in this afternoon.  Winds will be up around 5 to 15 mph with high temperatures from 79° to 84° but feeling warmer due to the heat index. Mostly sunny skies in the morning with partly cloudy skies in the afternoon and isolated showers.

Light winds up to 15 mph with a land breeze kicking in as the land cools off this evening. Partly cloudy skies with isolated showers for leeward spots in the evening and clearing overnight as the land breeze takes hold. Low temperatures from 69° to 74°.
