The Hawai‘i County Department of Parks and Recreation will close the Dr. Ruth E. Oda Playground located in Hilo’s Lincoln Park from Monday, Oct.10, through Monday, Oct. 31, for safety surfacing upgrades and playground component replacement.

Other areas of Lincoln Park will remain open daily, including the pavilions and restrooms.

The Department of Parks and Recreation thanks park patrons for their patience and understanding while it works to improve the playground.
