Certified B Corporations use the power of their business to solve economic, social, and environmental problems. To become a B Corporation, companies must pass the rigorous B Impact Assessment, which assesses the impact a company has on its environment, workers and community.

The first-annual Best for the World Celebration and Awards Ceremony to honor the winners was held on Thursday, Sept. 8, 2016, at the University of California at Berkeley.

A certified B Corporation since 2013, HLH entered a new category for companies doing good through their business.
