Military Convoys Scheduled from Keaukaha to Pohakuloa

Military convoys will travel between Keaukaha Military Reservation and Pohakuloa Training Area beginning Friday.

Oahu-based service members will travel between 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., and again from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m., from May 27 through Friday, June 3.

The convoys will utilize Hilo Airport Road, Kanoelehua Avenune, West Puainako Street, Komohana Avenue, Puainako Extension Route 2000, and the Daniel K. Inouye Highway.

Efforts between the PTA Department of Army police, local authorities, and military units have coordinated the activity in support of unit training and readiness.

Motorists driving along the listed roadways during scheduled convoy times should remain alert and drive with care.
