KAPA Hawaiian FM morning personalities Jaz and Ka’ea welcomed Kaulana Pakele of Mana’o Company to the KAPA Cafe.
Kaulana Pakele has been with Mana’o Company for the last 17 years. Mana’o company’s mix of traditional Hawaiian vocals and Jamaican reggae style rhythms has been entertaining fans for over 21 years. In 2002, they released their album Spread a little Aloha which won 5 Hoku awards including Song of the Year and Album of the Year. Before joining Mana’o Company, Kaualana’s band Ehukai won two Hoku Awards with their hit song “Moloka’i slide”.
