TripAdvisor: Kalaekilohana Named Among Top Small U.S. Hotels

Kalaekilohana Inn & Retreat, located in Naalehu, has been ranked third on TripAdvisor’s 2016 Travelers’ Choice list of Small Hotels in the United States

The Inn & Retreat took the eighth ranked spot on the list in 2015.

TripAdvisor winners are selected based on the quality and quantity of traveler views and ratings that are specific to each award category.

Keeter Center at College of the Ozarks in Point Lookout, Mo. took the number one spot in the Small Hotel category; while San Giuliano Hotel in Palm Springs, Calif. sat in second place.

The Travelers’ Choice Awards are broken out into categories for different traveler priorities, such as luxury, bargain hotels, families, romance, small hotel, best for service, and bed-and-breakfast inns.
