The Department of Water Supply has issued a water shut-off notice for 888 Mililani Street in South Hilo on Tuesday, April 28 from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.

According to DWS officials, the apartment complex located at the address will temporarily lose water supply as crews work to change a curb stop.

Residents in the area may experience turbid or discolored water once service resumes. Additionally, trapped air in plumbing may be noticed. These things will dissipate as service is used.

Customers should also take precautions and protect property and facilities that may be impacted by the water shut-off. These items include pumps and other devices that depend on water or water pressure.
