Looking Ahead

High pressure to the northeast of the islands is helping to introduce light to moderate trade winds to the eastern islands. Lighter winds are lingering over the western islands, with trades expected to arrive this weekend. The light winds will allow for some localized daytime sea breezes and overnight land breezes. While showers will be focused over windward and mauka areas, afternoon shower development will remain possible over interior and leeward areas with the sea breezes.
