Donkey Mill Art Center to Host 12th Annual Fundraiser

The Donkey Mill Art Center will host its 12th annual “Cool Fusion: Festival of 1000 Bowls” fundraiser on Saturday, Sept. 22, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The annual fundraiser will feature a variety of noodles, handmade ceramic wares and live performances by Kona Dance and Performing Arts and Big Island Music Academy.

Pre-sale tickets are $25 and available at Kona Stories Bookstore in the Keauhou Shopping Center, at the Donkey Mill Art Center in Holualoa, or online. Tickets will be available at the door for $30. Proceeds will benefit art education at the nonprofit’s community art center.

Admission includes unlimited somen noodles, entertainment and a bowl (valued up to $20) of any choosing. Gelato bowls will be offered starting at $15 and up.

Donkey Mill Art Center is the home of Holualoa Foundation for Arts and Culture, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit art education organization. Its mission is to provide a stimulating environment that helps individuals discover, develop and expand their artistic abilities. The Mill offers a variety of art classes for keiki and adults year round at its facility in Holualoa in addition to exhibits and events.
